(Deposit) NEW JERSEY PERMIT TO CARRY SAFE HANDLING AND PROFICIENCY IN THE USE OF HANDGUNS CERTIFICATION

Class needed to apply for a "Permit to Carry a Handgun" in New Jersey. This class is required for both, residents and non-residents that are applying. 

You will learn the rules and regulations associated with Concealed Carry in New Jersey as well as conduct the live-fire assessment, Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation (CCARE).

You must have your own firearm and holster for this course. We do not loan any equipment for the class. 

Required Equipment: 

- Firearm

- 2 Magazines minimum (more is better)

- Safe holster that fully covers the trigger guard (shoulder, small of the back and ankle holsters not allowed for qualification) 

- 50 rounds of ammunition, minimum 

- Eye protection

- Hearing Protection 

- Clothing (t-shirt, jacket, sweatshirt, etc) to cover holster and firearm 

- Must wear pants that can support weight of firearm and holster
